A small idea for using this

Let younger children draw or dictate. Invite older children to add a specific detail.

A few things before you print

How many blank feathers does the thankful turkey have?

Five large feathers give space to write or draw a person or moment the child appreciates. Color the turkey and autumn details afterwards.

Can children use this before they can write?

Yes. They can draw or dictate to an adult. Ages 4–8 can take part with suitable support; one concrete helpful or happy moment is enough to start.

Is this a cut-and-paste turkey craft?

It is a complete coloring and gratitude page with no required cutting or gluing. Use paper, a pencil and crayons, and optionally personalize the name for a class.

How do I print without clipped edges or extra pages?

Match A4 or US Letter in the activity and printer settings. Use portrait orientation and Actual size (100%), and turn off browser headers and footers. Check one preview before printing copies.
